Gnome Player recently updated in my ubuntu jaunty using this launchpad repository:
https://launchpad.net/~norsetto/+archive/ppa
Now gnome-mplayer is unable to play ANY video (normal m-player does)
is this a common behavior¿¿
Please use the bugtracker at http://code.google.com/p/gnome-mplayer/issues/list
or the one at launchpad to report issues. But gnome-mplayer should be able to play videos.
